Texas accounted for $18B of the $153 billion dollars of Foreign Buyer activity from May 1, 2016-April 30, 2017, according to the Texas Association of REALTORS®Texas International Home Buyer’s Reportfor 2017. Sales volume increased by 60% and dollar volume nearly doubled over the same period ending in May, 2016. Texas accounted for 12% of all foreign buyer activity in the U.S., ranking as the #2 state.
